There's currently a long-term temporary opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst with experienced and professional prowess at an innovative company. The Senior Financial Analyst consultant is in charge of project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting, serving as the primary point of contact for all financial issues. You will also perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be located in Montpelier, Vermont.

Prepares interim financial statement reporting and analysis.
Provides reporting and forecasting.
Coordinates annual administrative budget process; prepares monthly actual vs. budget analysis.
Maintains cost accounting system to allocate and report administrative expenses by the line of business.
Prepares financial and administrative expense exhibits and narrative for the business plan.

Job Requirements

- Financial reporting experience
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
- Applicants are required to hold a Finance, Business, or related field BA/BS degree
- Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Expert Microsoft Excel Access skills required
